The Channel 4/Netflix series The End Of The F***ing World features the first original soundtrack by Blur guitarist Graham Coxon, and it’s now been confirmed that the music is to be digitally released as a standalone, 16-track album on January 26th.
A vinyl edition will follow in March after Coxon recorded over 40 original pieces for the project at his home studio.

Maximo Park will headline Camden Rocks 2018, but it’s Public Image Ltd. who organiser Chris McCormack is particularly delighted to have secured for the event.
“I’ve been trying to book Public Image Limited for years so it’s great to finally have them playing Camden Rocks this year,” he says.

Liam is up for Best British Solo Artist – and is likely to stand a much better chance here of beating Ed Sheeran to the prize than at the Brits – as well as Best Live Artist.

The Y Not festival will have a new home for 2018 after severe weather last year ignited a chain of events which eventually led to its final day being cancelled and a 50% refund offered to attendees.
In response to criticism about an alleged lack of preparation for the disruption heavy rain can bring to a festival, organisers have detailed a move a short distance away at Aston Hill Farm in Derbyshire.

Wild Beasts have shared a new version of their indie classic All The King’s Men taken from the live album Last Night All My Dreams Came True, whose release on February 16th will be one of their final acts as a band.
Since making their decision to call it a day public last September a farewell UK tour has been scheduled, an EP entitled Punk Drunk And Trembling has been released and this career-spanning LP, recorded at RAK Studios, has been detailed.

The Vaccines have uploaded the video for their new single I Can’t Quit.
“The song is really simple, confident and fun and we wanted our role in the video to reflect that,” the band comment. “But we also wanted the video to represent these vicious cycles that we often get ourselves into but have no control over – they can feel confusing, isolating and violent.”

The pair are confirmed on the bill for the Serbian event between July 12th-15th with both currently recording their next albums. Indeed, Idles have just started work on the follow-up to Brutalism.

Violence is the band’s sixth studio effort and is being led off by Magazine, a track which frontman Tom Smith has said takes aim at those currently walking the corridors of power.

Dolores O’Riordan, lead singer of The Cranberries, died suddenly in London last week at the age of 46.
The BBC quoted a statement from her publicist which read: “The lead singer with the Irish band The Cranberries was in London for a short recording session. No further details are available at this time. Family members are devastated to hear the breaking news and have requested privacy at this very difficult time.”

Pretty Vicious will head out on a full tour of the UK in March after playing an NME Awards gig at London’s Shacklewell Arms on January 24th.
With new music imminent, the band have unveiled tour dates which are set to start in Manchester on March 7th and from there will take them to Edinburgh, Cardiff, Leeds, Bristol, Southampton and back to London.
