Liam and Noel Gallagher have landed multiple nominations between them for the 2018 NME Awards.
Liam is up for Best British Solo Artist – and is likely to stand a much better chance here of beating Ed Sheeran to the prize than at the Brits – as well as Best Live Artist, though he’ll surely be disappointed to have missed out on Outstanding Contribution To NME.com. These go with his previously announced Godlike Genius award.
Elder brother Noel, meanwhile, stands a chance in the Music Moment Of The Year and Best Festival Headliner categories, with Kasabian competing for Best British Band, Best Track and Best Live Artist.
Elsewhere, The National‘s Sleep Well Beast gets a nod for Best Album, and they also have interest in Best International Band.
