Michael Head at number one on UK Record Store Chart with Dear Scott

Michael Head

It’s Michael Head’s first album with The Red Elastic Band since 2017.

Michael Head is at number one on the UK Record Store Chart with his new Red Elastic Band album Dear Scott.

Angel Olsen’s wonderful Big Time LP is another high new entry at #3, while Liam Gallagher is down to #15 from the top spot last week with his latest solo record C’MON YOU KNOW.

A decade ago, The Official Charts Company began compiling the UK Record Store Chart to reflect the boom in vinyl sales which had begun during the previous decade. Its figures are taken from the best selling albums at 100 of Britain’s leading independent music shops.
