Our recap of the stories we featured during the past seven days includes a landmark gig for Royal Blood and some Grammy nominations for Paul McCartney.

Royal Blood will now start their 2022 UK tour at the brand new Swansea Arena on March 8th, becoming the first artist to play there in the process.

The landmark gig is set to arrive a couple of weeks before the rest of the duo’s arena tour, which has for a while now been due to start in Bournemouth on the 25th.

Arctic Monkeys, Dua Lipa and Kings Of Leon have been revealed as the headliners for next year’s Sziget Festival.

Also on the first list of names for the event – which is due to take place in Budapest, Hungary between August 10th-15th – are Lewis Capaldi, Jungle, Sigrid, slowthai, Little Simz and Beabadoobee, while Fontaines D.C. have been booked too after making a storming live return this year.

Also joining headliners Paolo Nutini, The Strokes and Lewis Capaldi are Self Esteem, The Lathums, Pip Blom, Maxïmo Park, Ella Henderson and Nina Nesbitt to name a few, with many more promised by organisers still to come.

Paul McCartney’s third instalment of his McCartney solo series has landed the veteran songwriter nominations for the 2022 Grammy Awards.

McCartney III itself is up for Best Rock Album, while its Find My Way single is up for Best Rock Song.

They start with his previously announced appearance at the inaugural In It Together festival in Wales and continue at another brand new event, Rock ‘N’ Roll Circus in Newcastle which is described as a ‘Las Vegas style experience’ with tightrope walkers, jugglers, ring masters and fortune tellers.
