Foals by Edward Cooke

It’s Foals’ seventh studio album.

The delayed arrival of some of this year’s Record Store Day releases has led to all change on the latest UK Record Store Chart, though it’s the brand new one from Foals which leads the way.

Life Is Yours is just ahead of The Smile’s debut LP A Light For Attracting Attention, while re-entries come from David Bowie, Pip Blom, Gerard Way and Super Furry Animals.

A decade ago, The Official Charts Company began compiling the UK Record Store Chart to reflect the boom in vinyl sales which had begun during the previous decade. Its figures are taken from the best selling albums at 100 of Britain’s leading independent music shops.
