CHVRCHES are back with a new single entitled He Said She Said, debuted on Annie Mac’s outgoing BBC Radio 1 show.

Written and recorded remotely from either side of the Atlantic during pandemic restrictions, the track has premiered with a lengthy statement from CHVRCHES’ Lauren Mayberry.

Sports Team have shared a new single entitled Happy (God’s Own Country) as the chance to tour last year’s debut album Deep Down Happy edges ever closer.

The track is set to feature on Plant Test – a collection of b-sides and rarities from the period which culminated in Deep Down Happy which is to be pressed exclusively for independent record shops.

It’s the follow-up to 2019’s Grey Area, the third studio LP which proved to be a big critical hit and brought a richly deserved Mercury Prize nomination that year.

Conor O’Brien has announced his new Villagers album Fever Dreams will be released on August 20th.

Blossoms have been announced as the headliners of a gig at Sefton Park in Liverpool which will act as one of the pilots which are being arranged to test the return of crowds to live events in the UK.

The Sefton Park Pilot is to take place on May 2nd as part of the national Events Research Programme (ERP); should they provide a negative COVID test 24 hours before, those attending will be able to do so without the need for masks or social distancing.
