Noel Gallagher‘s second High Flying Birds album ‘Chasing Yesterday‘ remains the UK’s biggest seller on vinyl this year, reports the Official Charts Company.

The OCC is continuing to draw up sales data for 2015 so far, and revealed the year’s best sellers overall last week. Turning their attention to the vinyl format, ‘Chasing Yesterday‘ is also revealed to be 2015’s fastest selling album in the UK, and sits atop of the vinyl chart ahead of The Stone Roses, Royal Blood, Led Zeppelin and Arctic Monkeys.

After Ladbrokes made Adele their top tip to headline next year’s Glastonbury festival, rival bookmakers William Hill have now joined in the fun.

William Hill have Coldplay as their favourites to lead the Pyramid Stage next year with odds of 4/1, closely followed by Adele at 6/1.

With their debut album ‘Nowhere‘ set for an expanded re-release on November 6th, Ride have now revealed they will further celebrate the 25th anniversary by performing it in full during their October UK tour.

“I’m so excited about playing ‘Nowhere’ in full,” guitarist Andy Bell remarks. “I didn’t realise how few times we’d actually played most of the songs. And of course we have never played the album in its original track order before.

After ‘What Went Down‘ continued their love affair with both fans and critics a little earlier this year, Foals will keep the good feeling going on a UK arena tour at the start of 2016.

Opening at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow on February 12th, the band play shows in Manchester, Brighton, Bournemouth, London, Birmingham and Leeds during the following week. Tickets go on sale from Friday, October 9th.

Field Music will make a most welcome return early next year with a first UK tour since 2012.

David and Peter Brewis have been busy with various projects in the meantime, and did release their ‘Music For Drifters‘ soundtrack earlier this year. They’ll now return with two nights at the Newcastle Cluny on February 25th and 26th 2016, and there’s time for one more gig at the York Duchess in February before March brings in a show at the Cardiff Globe.

Plans were in place at the start of 2015, and now Jim Reid has confirmed The Jesus and Mary Chain are working on a new brand new album.

One of the UK’s most revered and authentic indie exports have been celebrating the 25th anniversary of ‘Psychocandy‘ since last year, but Reid has told Time Out the band’s focus is shifting ever more to the future.

Black Sabbath have added European dates to their 2016 farewell world tour.

Fans in the UK are still waiting for their turn, but a trek around mainland Europe has now been confirmed for June and July next year, adding to North American and Australasian dates through January, February and April.

Kula Shaker will tour Europe in 2016 after confirming plans to release a first album since 2010’s ‘Pilgrims Progress‘.

What’s set to be the third studio record from the band since they returned from nearly a decade out with ‘Strangefolk‘ in 2007 is being previewed with a first teaser clip which can be seen below. UK tour dates have also been announced and open in Glasgow on February 15th next year.

It’s not taken long for The Who to reschedule the North American leg of their 50th anniversary world tour which was postponed last month after frontman Roger Daltrey contracted viral meningitis.

All tickets for the original run will be available when Daltrey and Pete Townshend return on February 27th 2016 at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit.

Muse have added a fifth and final night at the London O2 Arena to their 2016 European tour diary.

With four nights on April 11th, 12th, 14th and 15th at the venue already sold out, the band will now be there a little earlier on April 3rd. They’ve also added a brand new date at the Barclaycard Arena in Birmingham on the 2nd.
