After Ladbrokes made Adele their top tip to headline next year’s Glastonbury festival, rival bookmakers William Hill have now joined in the fun.
William Hill have Coldplay as their favourites to lead the Pyramid Stage next year with odds of 4/1, closely followed by Adele at 6/1.
“Coldplay could make a welcome return to the Pyramid stage this year and that will no doubt cheer the masses as they wait and refresh their computers on Sunday morning in the race to bag some Glastonbury tickets,” says William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
Coach tickets for Glastonbury 2016 have already sold-out, while standard weekend tickets at a price of £228 are up for grabs on Sunday (October 4th).
2008 and all its struggles now seem a long time ago, though the festival will have to go some to break the sales record set last year when 135,000 tickets were snapped up within half-an-hour of being put on sale.
