The Vaccines have confirmed a new album will be released next year whilst outlining details of a show at Alexandra Palace in London on April 14th, 2018.

Since the release of 2015’s English Graffiti, The Vaccines have seen their drummer Pete Robertson depart and bassist Arni Arnason launch a solo career, but are now edging closer to a fourth studio album.

Frightened Rabbit will mark ten years of their second studio album The Midnight Organ Fight with UK dates next year.

Released in April 2008, The Midnight Organ Fight became one of the year’s highest praised releases.

Ride are keeping the new material flowing and have unveiled a track entitled Pulsar.

Like this year’s Weather Diaries album, it was produced by DJ Erol Alkan and, according to drummer Loz Colbert, ‘reimagines old organ samples, transmissions from space, effects, heavy beats and pulsing chords’.

Former Kaiser Chiefs drummer Nick Hodgson has confirmed the details of his debut solo album.

Tell Your Friends has been given a release date of January 26th 2018 after his solo career was launched last month with the track Suitable.

Stereophonics will return to the Wrexham Racecourse and also play a show at the Cardiff City Stadium next year after their lengthy February/March 2018 UK arena tour.

The outdoor Welsh gigs have been lined up for June 2nd and June 9th and were confirmed with Stereophonics heading back to the top of the UK Album Chart with their latest release Scream Above The Sounds.

James have announced a gig at the Manchester Albert Hall which will help to raise money for the We Love Manchester fund, launched to support those affected by the attack on the city’s arena during an Ariana Grande concert in May.

“Very happy to announce this benefit gig that we have been trying to make happen since the atrocity took place,” the band say of the show which will take place on December 18th.

After building previous LPs Pearl Mystic and The Hum around their live sound, Hookworms have embraced the studio like never before on new record Microshift.

The Leeds band have made use of loops, synthesizers, drum machines and more, as well as co-writing sessions with artists such as Richard Formby and Christopher Duffin, for the album which has been set for release on February 2nd next year.

Noel Gallagher debuted a new Who Built The Moon? cut live on Later…With Jools Holland last Tuesday night.

She Taught Me How To Fly became the latest preview of Gallagher’s upcoming third High Flying Birds album when it closed out the final episode of this series of Later… after he’d earlier performed a more-guitar driven version of its lead single Holy Mountain.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ booking stamps a date on their long awaited live return to the UK; they’ll be playing Victoria Park on May 25th when it is headlined by LCD Soundsystem after the recent reissue of their debut album Fever To Tell.
