The Jesus & Mary Chain have lined up some cracking support for their UK and Ireland tour which launches later this month.
Live4ever favourites Asylums and The Shimmer Band are along for the ride in Newcastle, Manchester, Leicester and Bristol (Asylums in Newcastle only), while others such as Willow Robinson and The Slow Readers Club have also signed up.

Frightened Rabbit are new for Live At Leeds, which has expanded its line-up for 2017 today.
Of the many new names confirmed to be joining Slaves, Wild Beasts, Temples, Future Islands and much more, some have seen fit to comment, with Dead! remarking: “The best thing about festivals is getting to check out loads of great new bands.”

Jake Bugg is the headliner for the second edition of LeeFest presents The Neverland, leading Wild Beasts, DJ Annie Mac and others.
Neverland will be held in a faraway place, or John Darlings Farm if you prefer, between August 10th-12th.

The Maccabees will be practicing their waving technique when they warm-up for their farewell shows in Birmingham, Glasgow and Newcastle this coming June.
The three shows are now acting as a precursor to the main goodbyes which are due to take place across two nights at the Manchester Apollo and three at London’s Alexandra Palace up to and including July 1st.

North American shows have been unveiled by Ride for the summer, when the first new album of their reunion is also due.
The band play live in Toronto, Boston, New York, Philadelphia and Washington D.C this coming July, new material including Charm Assault and Home Is a Feeling expected in the set after their premiere last month.

Kelly Jones will go solo to support Paul Weller‘s Teenage Cancer Trust gig later this month.
The Stereophonics frontman is at the Royal Albert Hall show in London on March 31st as another artist with a long-running association with Roger Daltrey’s annual fundraising series.

T In The Park organiser Geoff Ellis has said there will be a refocus on rock music and age restrictions should the festival return from its break this year.
Ellis told BBC Radio Scotland that the changes are aimed at preventing ’16 and 17 year olds going a bit crazy’, which he says is one of the problems they have seen creeping into the event during recent years.
