Although their thoughts are turning towards a new album, The National haven’t forgotten about ‘Trouble Will Find Me‘ just yet as the band unveil an official video for the recent single ‘I Need My Girl‘. Have a watch through the snapshot below.
Released in May 2013, ‘Trouble Will Find Me’ didn’t veer too far away from the full-blooded American rock diet which has become such a consistent, winning formula for the group during the past decade.
However, Aaron Dessner has recently suggested they could be ready to explore something markedly different next time around.
“I’m sure that once we’ve done touring we’ll take at least a year away from the band, but I think that we’re also excited about an idea – like, everyone seems interested in making an album a different way,” he told NME. “It might mean a more louder, more live record that is less produced and more, just like, raw and shredding.”
