Fan footage of the Arctic Monkeys being joined onstage by their pal Josh Homme has been posted online – have a watch below.
The Queens Of The Stone Age frontman reprised his studio role on the recent ‘AM‘ album cut ‘Knee Socks‘ during the Arctics’ two-night stay at the Wiltern in Los Angeles towards the end of last month, continuing a strong association between the two parties which began on the Sheffield band’s 2009 album ‘Humbug‘.
More recently, as well the vocal contributions offered to ‘AM’, Homme covered ‘Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High?’ during a recording for the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge series.
After a few days’ break, Arctic Monkeys resume their North American tour at the Austin City Limits event today (October 4th), and conclude the run with subsequent shows in Baton Rouge, Chattanooga, Nashville and Birmingham, Alabama before returning to Austin for a second spot at City Limits on the 11th.
They then begin a tour of UK arenas in Newcastle on October 22nd.
