Select cuts from their upcoming second studio album might well be on display when Slaves play a hastily arranged gig at London’s 100 Club tomorrow night.
Laurie Vincent and Isaac Holman have been busy crafting their follow-up to the 2015 Mercury nominated debut ‘Are You Satisfied?‘ for a fair chunk of this year, and recently told Live4ever what we should all expect from the next record.
“The album is like a buffet,” Vincent told Live4ever backstage at the Irving Plaza in New York. “We’ve got songs that are sing-along, we’ve got heavy, heavy punk songs. Songs that dabble in electronica. We’ve got a ballad…Well, I don’t know if you can call it a ballad, that’s a bit strong for us. A Slaves attempt at a ballad.”
