Muse Track Has ‘Greatest Bass Line Ever’

Muse‘s 2003 single ‘Hysteria‘ has the greatest bass line of all-time, according to a new poll conducted by MusicRadar.

The publication places Muse at number one, ahead of Rush‘s ‘YYZ‘ and Queen‘s disco-fused favourite ‘Another One Bites The Dust‘.

Queen also feature at #4, with their excellent David Bowie collaboration ‘Under Pressure‘, while Pink Floyd‘s ‘Money‘, taken from the massive selling ‘Dark Side Of The Moon‘, is at number 6.

The Who‘s ‘My Generation‘, famous for its pioneering bass breaks by the legendary John Entwistle, is at #9.

Last year, Muse also finished top of a similar poll by Guitar Magazine which named their track ‘Plug In Baby‘ as having the greatest riff of the past decade.
