Mad Cool is now looking to July 2022 for its 5th anniversary party.
Mad Cool organisers have confirmed Metallica, Muse, Imagine Dragons, The Killers, Kings Of Leon and plenty more for the festival’s summer return next year.
Twenty One Pilots, St. Vincent, Tove Lo, Zara Larsson, Carly Rae Jepsen and Wolf Alice are also booked for 2022 not too long after it was revealed that the event had been cancelled for a second successive year.
“It has been a very painful decision to come to, as our desire (and probably yours) was to find ourselves all together again at Mad Cool,” organisers said.
“However, we would like to let you know, we think this is the appropriate, sensible and right decision to make. Health is more important than anything.”
“We are already working to be able to come back with an even better and more exciting festival at Mad Cool 2022. It will be a memorable event.”
