“Due to the current force majeure circumstances that you are all already aware of, we must let you know that our 5th anniversary of Mad Cool Festival is postponed until 2022,” organisers said in a statement.
Since launching in 2016, Spain’s Mad Cool Festival has garnered a reputation for consistently delivering one of Europe’s best festival line-ups.
Alas, due to the ongoing pandemic, the opportunity to do so again in 2021 will not be there.
“It has been a very painful decision to come to, as our desire (and probably yours) was to find ourselves all together again at Mad Cool,” organisers continued.
“However, we would like to let you know, we think this is the appropriate, sensible and right decision to make. Health is more important than anything.”
“We are already working to be able to come back with an even better and more exciting festival at Mad Cool 2022. “it will be a memorable event.”
