After last week’s SXSW special, the New Tunes Guide returns in more familiar form today with highlights from Battles Lines and Life In Film.
Leeds four-piece Battle Lines release their new single ‘Hunting’ in April as part of a split 7” with Post War Glamour Girls on Hide & Seek Records. The band have performances at South By Southwest, Reading/Leeds and Beacons under their belt, and will launch the single at the Brudenell Social Club on April 16th.
London quartet Life In Film have their debut album ‘Here It Comes’ ready for release on May 4th. Before then, they’ve shared the video for latest single ‘Get Closer’, a track written in over the course of a couple of hours in their flat last summer.
