Our editor’s pick of the tracks which have come in this week is A-Game, the new single from vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Brooke Combe.
Brooke Combe is another to find some productive studio time at Parr Street Studios in Liverpool with James Skelly, when the track was recorded with Blossoms’ Chaz Salt on bass and Aden Peets on drums.
“When I was writing A-Game I was delving into what it was like being with someone purely for lighthearted fun,” she’s said. “However, when you start to notice that this person is having such a good effect on you that you question whether or not you want more.”
“Nobody knew the full extent of the relationship and we both felt we had to keep it on the down low which essentially, made it more fun.”
