Miles Kane has told Gigwise he and fellow Last Shadow Puppets bandmate Alex Turner have been discussing plans for a second album, despite the pair currently both being busy with their own parent projects.
Miles Kane released his debut solo album ‘Colour Of The Trap‘ earlier this year, which was followed soon after by the Arctic Monkeys‘ latest album ‘Suck It and See‘.
However, despite the respective hectic schedules, Kane has revealed the duo are hoping to find time to begin work their excellent 2008 debut ‘The Age Of The Understatement‘.
“We were both talking about it the other day, around how we could work it,” Kane explained. “At the moment it’s hard as we both have stuff out and tours coming up. But for me I think I’d just like to a second relatively quickly and I’m sure if we were to do a second Last Shadow Puppets album then that would come soon after.”
Released back in May, ‘Colour Of The Trap’ has proved to be both a critical and commercial success, and was recently included on the Live4ever Ezine‘s essential albums of the year so far.
