On December 6th, Live4ever will host, what promises to be, a raucous night of Rock ‘n’ Roll at The Studio at Webster Hall which will include the NYC debut of UK four piece Pint Shot Riot
Quite fitting that nearly a year on they have secured their place at SXSW by receiving the elusive invite just this week and will make their NYC debut with Live4ever at Webster Hall on December 6th, as so many other great bands have done before them (U2, Depeche Mode…)
Bassist Baby Dave told us: “SXSW has long been one of my ambitions for the band. We are itching to bring our show to the USA and represent English Rock and Roll. I think it would be amazing just to attend the festival, I’ve heard some fascinating reports from people who have been.” Quite fitting then that nearly a year on, Pint Shot Riot should be making their US debut with Live4ever, and have recently secured their place at next year’s South By Southwest Festival.
Opening act for Monday are eclectic New York locals Allan and the Foxes who’s cross-genre repertoire is as soulful as it is regal and is fueled by the catchy lyrics of lead singer Allan Fox. Their immediate success and rise to local fame are surely a sign of things to come.
Topping the bill next Monday, New York based Des Roar were formed in 2006 when Ryan Spoto met drummer Lyla Vander not long after a move to Brooklyn. With the line-up completed by Ben Wolcott and Alan O’Keeffe, by mid-2008 Des Roar were able to boast an amalgamation of dance, rock, East and West coast sounds, perfectly summed up by the ‘classic punk rock, funny, confrontational and deliberately anti-PC’ description of Lucid Culture.
Taking place at The Studio, Webster Hall, tickets are $10 in advance or at the door – we hope you can make it to this very special Live4ever Presents event.
