Wild Beasts’ Tom Fleming has today released his One True Pairing work Golden Arches which was originally recorded for Amazon Originals.
“Golden Arches is a song of escape and a song of possibility,” Fleming explains. “Built from a load of software loops during hot days spent inside, dreaming of the drizzling open road, it went from bedroom to studio alarmingly quickly.”
“I make no apologies for it being hugely romantic and escapist, I’m always grubbing down in the dirt, trying to make the flowers grow.”
There’s a couple of live outings coming up this year, on the Laundry Meadows Stage at Standon Calling on Saturday, July 24th and at Queens Hall in Edinburgh on November 27th as part of the city’s Great Eastern festival.
