The steady stream of artists who are having to move their already rescheduled tours into next year has continued with Thom Yorke‘s Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes falling permanently by the 2020 wayside.

Like many others, Yorke had planned for where we are right now in the year to be the point when his US tour dates – originally due to take place back in the spring – could be held, but with the world still very much in the grip of coronavirus restrictions, his name can now be added to the growing list who instead have hopeful eyes on next year for the resumption of live music.

As it stands, no new dates for visits to New York, Sacramento and Phoenix have been confirmed, while stops in Washington D.C., Denver and Chicago have been cancelled altogether.
