Stormzy headlining Day 1 at TRSNMT Festival 2019 (Gary Mather for Live4ever)
Stormzy has released a video for the sixth single to be taken from his most recent album Heavy Is The Head.
The promo for Superheroes has been directed by Taz Tron Deli, and features depictions of rising stars such as Little Simz and Dave. “I think it’s important that you guys understand how powerful you are,” Stormzy says.
“Despite the colour of your skin, despite where you come from, despite your religion, despite whatever it is that you feel may be holding you back; you are a Superhero. So, I wanted to make this video to inspire you guys, to let you know that the sky is the limit.”
Heavy Is The Head went to number one in the UK upon its release in December 2019, when Live4ever summed it up as, ‘the sound of the pressure of one being fuelling the mind, body and soul for all’.
