Since hitting the ground sprinting in 2013 with essential recordings such as the I Go Out duet between Emiliana Torrini and Steve Mason, Speedy Wunderground has grown to become the natural home for much of the best new music to have emerged during the past few years.

It’s taken until now though for the label to put out its first full length album, this not inconsiderable milestone being achieved by south Londoners Tiña.

The band’s debut Positive Mental Health Music is due for release on November 6th via Speedy Wunder, containing new single Rosalina which has a video out now. “We ended up playing a virtual gig and shooting this video on the same night during lockdown,” frontman Joshua Loftin explains. “A couple of days after me breaking my collarbone! I think breaking it slowed me down a bit and helped me to tune into myself.”

The LP was helmed, of course, by Dan Carey, who says it was, ‘the beauty of their chord changes’ which first piqued his interest.
