Pearl Jam have confirmed their eleventh studio album Gigaton for release on March 27th.

Produced by Josh Evans and the band, the LP’s first single Dance Of The Clairvoyants has been promised in the near future. “Making this record was a long journey,” explains Mike McCready.

Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, Whitney Houston, The Notorious B.I.G., T. Rex and The Doobie Brothers are the 2020 inductees into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.

“I’m pretty freaked out,” Trent Reznor has responded in a statement released to Rolling Stone. “I’m quite in shock. When I look back at how Nine Inch Nails are received, it always seems like we fall between the cracks.”

The third round of artists who’ll be visiting Austin in March for this year’s South By Southwest Festival have been revealed.

Some notable names in amongst the hundreds are Soccer Mommy and Crows, while PVA – another Speedy Wunderground graduate – are on there too.

The 1975 have delayed the release of their new album Notes On A Conditional Form.

No reason has been given for the push back, but the LP will now come out on April 24th instead of its original date of February 21st, the same month an arena tour of the UK is booked.

Billie Eilish has recorded the title song for the new James Bond film No Time To Die.

Eilish has co-wrote the song with her brother Finneas, and says it feels ‘crazy to be a part of this in every way’. “To be able to score the theme song to a film that is part of such a legendary series is a huge honour,” she continues. “James Bond is the coolest film franchise ever to exist. I’m still in shock.”

The nominations for this year’s Brit Awards have been revealed, and it’s Lewis Capaldi and Dave who are leading the way.

FKA twigs, Michael Kiwanuka and Stormzy are some of the artists to buck the common trend, but it’s likely to be Lewis Capaldi who’ll dominate the ceremony when it takes place at the O2 Arena in London on February 18th
