Anna Calvi has been announced as the ambassador for next year’s Independent Venue Week in the UK.

Calvi joins a list of ambassadors which includes Tim Burgess, Wolf Alice and Colin Greenwood, and has spoken of the importance small venues play in the development of new artists.

The Killers will support the release of their sixth studio album with UK stadium shows next year.

Imploding The Mirage has been primed for the spring of 2020, when outdoor gigs in Falkirk, Manchester, Norwich, Southampton, London, Bristol, Coventry and Middlesbrough will amount to a huge couple of weeks for the band.

The second wave of artists heading for Austin and next year’s South By Southwest Festival have been revealed.

Noel Gallagher has premiered Wandering Star from his next High Flying Birds EP Blue Moon Rising.

Gallagher won’t quite fit in three EPs this year as once promised; Blue Moon Rising is to follow Black Star Dancing and This Is The Place on March 6th, 2020. It was another written in Abbey Road, he reveals, on the same day as Black Star Dancing.
