LIFE performing at All Points East 2018 (Gary Mather for Live4ever)
LIFE have released an animated video for Excites Me, yet another scintillating cut from this year’s A Picture Of Good Health album.
“Sometimes music hits you like a shot of pure adrenaline,” Mez Green says upon the premiere of the video which was directed by Callum Scott-Dyson.
“Like electricity in your blood stream, like a never ending firework. Sometimes music heals you. Sometimes music excites you. Music excites me. Let it excite you.”
We were able to catch-up with Mez and Stu before their gig at the Hyde Park Book Club in Leeds last week to talk about the strides the band have made around their second record. “We didn’t just have a meeting and say ‘this is how we want it to sound’, we just made music,” Stu told us. “We feel it’s expansive, and broad and exciting,” Mez added. “People have embraced that and we’re very proud of this record.”
