There’s more evidence of the huge comeback enjoyed by Liam Gallagher last year coming in from the Official Charts Company.

After the Oasis frontman’s debut solo LP As You Were was revealed as the ninth biggest seller overall in the UK last year, it’s now been confirmed as the second most popular record on vinyl during 2017, beaten only by the world’s current fixation with Ed Sheeran’s Divide.

Gallagher’s elder brother Noel also got himself into the upper echelons of the vinyl’s end-of-year chart courtesy of Who Built The Moon?, while the pair can both take joy from their former band’s classic second record (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? placing at #9, and the seminal debut Definitely Maybe at #25.
