The xx reveal 2017 live outings

The xx will make their live return in South America for Lollapalooza next spring.

The band are booked for Lollapalooza Brazil between March 25th-26th 2017, Lollapalooza Argentina through March 31st-April 1st and Lollapalooza Chile which takes place between April 1st-2nd.

We’ve got to go back a long way for The xx’s last studio LP ‘Coexist‘ – one of Live4ever’s albums of 2012 – even though they’ve been discussing recording sessions and plans for a follow-up regularly since.

In one of those updates given to fans, they called 2014 ‘a creative one for us’, even if its fruits are still yet to be revealed. “In the spring we spent a few weeks in the incredible and unique town of Marfa in Texas,” they said.

“Then, in Summer we spent some time just outside of Reykavik in Iceland. This Autumn we have been back in London, writing and having some time at home but this week we are heading out to Los Angeles to continue the writing and recording process.”
