It’s been nearly two years now since The Jesus & Mary Chain returned to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their classic, staunchly independent debut ‘Psychocandy‘.
With Creation Management and Alan McGee back on board too, the band’s latest tour dates brought them to London over the weekend for a show at The Forum – Live4ever’s Alberto Pezzali has all the highlights.

After this period reflecting on past achievements, Jim Reid has been more recently turning attention towards a brand new album, and told Time Out last year that recording has started.
“We’re doing an album now,” he said. “We actually just started recording. It’s early days, but I would say it’s a more mature sound for the Mary Chain. But let’s just wait and see.”
