Klaxons have shared their new track ‘There Is No Other Time‘ on Soundcloud as they finally get ready to follow-up the 2010 album ‘Surfing The Void‘.
The track has been produced by Gorgon City – just one of several collaborators which Klaxons have worked with during the recording of their third album. “This record is very much about the present, an emotionally honest album about technological and personal progression,” Jamie Reynolds has said.
The other producers expected to feature on the LP are Erol Alkan, James Murphy and The Chemical Brothers – the latter of whom have been linked with the band as far back as 2012, when Reynolds told BBC Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe:
“We’ve worked with loads of different people, but it’s been a learning process I think. We have learned to make electronic music with computers, that’s been our mission over the last however long.”
After forming in 2005, Klaxons swiftly capitalised on a number of early singles and EPs with the 2007 Mercury-winning debut album ‘Myths Of The Near Future‘.
