As the main portion of their long North American tour gets ready to launch at Lollapalooza tomorrow (August 2nd), Queens Of The Stone Age appeared on the US’ Jimmy Kimmel Live chat show last night for two performances. ‘I Sat By The Ocean‘ and ‘My God Is The Sun‘ can be viewed below.
After Lollapalooza, Josh Homme and co. begin their own headline dates in Kansas, before moving north to Canada before the month is out. The tour moves into September with a show at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, while October is later brought in with a stop in Texas. Appearances at Austin City Limits over consecutive weekends later that month bring proceedings to a conclusion.
Soon after, the band will travel across the Atlantic to undertake a tour of UK arenas which starts on November 16th at the Glasgow Hydro Arena. Two concerts at Wembley Arena on November 22nd and 23rd mark the end of the trip.
