Biffy Clyro have revealed the new title for their upcoming double album.
The Scottish band had originally planned to have their new album carry two titles – ‘The Land At The End Of Our Toes‘ and ‘The Sand At The Core Of Our Bones‘ – but had a change of heart in June. And they have now confirmed the double LP will instead have the more straightforward title ‘Opposites‘ when it is released later this year.
Biffy Clyro also appeared on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show last night (July 31st), when the new track ‘Stingin’ Belle‘ was handed its debut. “It’s a strange situation when you’re revealing what you’ve been working on for the past couple of years – it doesn’t get any easier, but it’s still exciting,” frontman Simon Neil told the DJ. “We’re definitely a bit nervous but we’re very excited.”
Biffy Clyro will appear at the London Roundhouse on September 22nd as part of the month-long iTunes festival. Support will be provided by Frightened Rabbit.
