The twin Reading/Leeds festivals have confirmed the line-up for this year’s BBC Introducing Stage.
Since being initiated five years ago, the BBC Introducing Stage has showcased some of the best new bands of recent times, and will host the likes of Hawk Eyes, Family Of The Year and Max Raptor for 2012.
The 33 bands have been chosen thanks to the BBC’s Introducing shows, Leeds promoters Futuresound, festival promoters Festival Republic and the Centre Stage competition.
This year’s Reading/Leeds festival is due to be held over the weekend of August 24th-26th, and will be headlined by Kasabian, The Cure and the Foo Fighters, while the likes of The Black Keys, The Vaccines and The Shins are also due for appearances on the main stage.
