Grandaddy frontman Jason Lytle has confirmed the full details of his new solo album.
‘Dept. of Disappearance‘ will be released on October 16th, and comprises eleven tracks. The record is Lytle’s fourth studio effort following the 2009 albums ‘Yours Truly, the Commuter‘ and ‘Merry X-Mas‘, as well as 2010’s ‘Music Meant to Accompany the Art of Ron Cameron‘.
The news comes after Grandaddy announced their reformation will be rubber-stamped with a headline appearance at the End Of The Road festival earlier this year.
The Californian band originally split in 2006, citing ‘financial difficulties’ as the chief reason for bringing their 14-year career to an end, but will now return at the Dorset folk festival in September.
