Eminem’s Recovery’ returns to the top of the Album chart this week, replacing last week’s no.1 ‘The Final Frontier’ which drops to #3. Elsewhere, Arcade Fire’s The Suburbs’ climbs one place to no.4, and Klaxons’ new album debuts at no.10. In the UK Singles chart, urban act Taio Cruz is at number one with his track ‘Dynamite’.




In the UK Indie Album chart, Mercury-nominees The xx are on top for another week, while Mogwai land at no.7 with their record ‘Special Moves’. In the UK Indie Singles chart, Katy B is at number one with ‘Katy On a Mission’, while The Count & Sinden hold on to no.4.

Interpol will play a one-off London show following the release of their new album. The band will play a date at the Heaven venue on September 15th.

The Answering Machine have announced details of a UK tour to commence at the end of next month. The Manchester band will begin in Crewe on September 24th, and will restart on October 22nd  in Leicester.
