The first New Tunes Guide of March has highlights from New Yorkers Chappo and Bucks three-piece Swoons.
Chappo were formed in New York’s East Village in 2009 and have kept themselves busy since with the release of two EPs entitled ‘Plastique Universe’ and ‘Plastique Universe II’ in 2010 and 2011, and their 2012 full length debut ‘Moonwater’. They’ve now got their second album ‘Future Former Self’ ready to release through Votiv Music on May 12th.
Swoons are a trio from Buckinghamshire whose debut single ‘The Night’ is to be be released on March 30th. It’s had airplay from BBC 3 Counties and Amazing Radio. Catch them live in London when they play the Barfly on April 24th.
