Kasabian Unveil ‘Velociraptor!’ Album Artwork

kasabian1Kasabian have unveiled the artwork for their forthcoming album ‘Velociraptor!’ (pic), which features an image collage of guitarist Serge Pizzorno in a now trademark screaming pose.

The album, which is due for release on September 16th, is Kasabian’s fourth studio effort, and the follow up to 2009’s hugely successful, Mercury-nominated LP ‘West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum‘.

Already described by the band as their best album to date, frontman Tom Meighan has also recently outlined a ‘huge progression’ to Absolute Radio, saying:

“The overall response from the gigs and people that have heard it on the radio has been bigger than ever. Everyone seems to be really digging the new sound. It’s a huge progression for us, it’s epic. It’s a proper rock album, futuristic modern rock album. It’s the future.”

Kasabian recently unveiled the second teaser from ‘Velociraptor!’, entitled ‘Days Are Forgotten‘, which the Live4ever Ezine reviewed as tearing ‘through the speakers with a riff that resonates of Muse’s ‘Supermassive Black Hole‘.’
