Yuck, Johnny Lloyd, Asylums, Desert Mountain Tribe new for Hackney Wonderland

 

Find Yuck, Johnny Lloyd, Saint Agnes, Tempesst, Asylums and Desert Mountain Tribe new on the Hackney Wonderland line-up.

They join We Are Scientists, Swim Deep, Mystery Jets, Lucy Rose, Jim Jones and The Righteous Mind, Stealing Sheep, Hooton Tennis Club, Syd Arthur and others at the event which is to be held between October 15th-16th across five venues in London which include the Oval Space, the Fields Brewery  and the Sebright Arms.

Yuck released their latest album ‘Stranger Things‘ earlier this year; “‘Glow and Behold’s’ shoegaze boarded on pastiche, but on ‘Stranger Things’ it seems Yuck are beginning to settle into themselves,” we said.

“These four will always be nineties kids and revivalist at heart, so the new album isn’t a strikingly different sounding Yuck record, but it does have a distinct feel. With all the challenges that Bloom and company have faced, they’ve gained a valuable sense of perspective.”
