White Lung announce new album ‘Paradise’

Paradise

White Lung follow their 2014 album ‘Deep Fantasy‘ on May 6th.

Paradise‘ was recorded last October in Los Angeles with producer Lars Stalfors and is being previewed with the highly charged ‘Hungry‘, the video for which is below and whose director Justin Gradin says:

“‘Hungry’ plays with identity and perception, and the idea that sometimes public attention can create more isolation and delusion. The video focuses on a self-obsessed girl (who is barely famous as the model on a brand of canned condensed milk) as she struggles to seem important while being haunted by the ghosts of fame until her eventual epiphany of disposability.”

‘Deep Fantasy’ was named as one of Live4ever’s best albums of 2014 after our review stated:

“Their coruscating undertow is far too strong to be denied.  On songs like ‘Sycophant‘, ‘Wrong Star‘ and ‘Lucky One‘ White Lung appear to be somewhere between desolation and mania, revelling in their uncomplicated buzz, like Blondie might sound if they were still 20 now and had been playing people’s basements.”
