New music from Westside Cowboy and Spearside brought some of the favourite tracks on Live4ever’s radar this week.
Westside Cowboy have set their second EP So Much Country ‘Till We Get There for release on January 16th next year and have marked the news with a video for its lead track Don’t Throw Rocks.
“This started life as a fuzzy drum machine demo that Jimmy made in his bedroom and eventually made its way into the practice room ahead of our first headline at Castle Hotel,” the band have said.

Brothers Oisín and Cian Walsh have confirmed their new Spearside EP Couldn’t Be Told will be released on October 22nd, featuring four tracks which also include Sentimental, Stuck Into Me and No Such Thing.
“The title encapsulates the meaning of the song; the arrogance of youth, the consequence of misplaced effort and watching someone wilfully go down a sad road,” Oisín has said.

Oblivious is the latest previously unreleased track shared by Jake Bugg from his forthcoming expanded deluxe edition of last year’s A Modern Day Distraction album.
“After we released the album we realised we weren’t finished creatively,” Bugg has said.

Metz‘s Alex Edkins is back with Weird Nightmare and has released the brand new single Forever Elsewhere following the band’s 2022 self-titled debut album.
“Forever Elsewhere is the most optimistic song I’ve written to date,” Edkins has said.

Sorry are previewing Cosplay again with its new single Today Might Be The Hit ahead of their ‘Cosplayography’ instore gigs which will take place in London and Brighton next month.
Heavy touring is planned following the LP’s release, starting with a December trip around North America including a stop in New York at Brooklyn’s Bowery Ballroom.

Kelly Lee Owens is remaining immersed in club culture on her new EP Kelly which has been confirmed for release on November 21st.
First track Ascend is streaming online now; “This EP is about embodying sound and those collective, physical experiences we only really have in clubs or at music events,” Owens has said.
