Feeder live at the Manchester Academy
Feeder were in Manchester on October 2nd.
Feeder‘s UK tour remembering their 2002 album Comfort In Sound has gigs still to come in Glasgow, Bristol and Birmingham after its stop at the Academy last night.
The band are out on the road in celebration of an album which Grant Nicholas has said is, ‘very close to our hearts’, and which took them to the forefront of the early noughties New Rock Revolution scene via hit singles such as Come Back Around and Just The Way I’m Feeling.
“We hit a brick wall after losing Jon,” Nicholas continued.
So as a writer I decided to put all those mixed feeling and emotions into writing songs of recovery. Those compositions became the Comfort In Sound album and I think it opened both myself up as a writer and the depth and soul of Feeder as a band.
