New music from Noel Gallagher could be just around the corner after the former Oasis guitarist posted an image on Instagram which seems to point to the name of a new single.
With a music video shoot also being hinted at elsewhere on social media recently, Gallagher’s Instagram post features a banner painted with ‘It’s A Beautiful World’, the possible first track from his third High Flying Birds album which is expected later this year.

Robert Plant has posted a second track from his new album Carry Fire.
“It’s about intention, I respect and relish my past works but each time I feel the lure and incentive to create new work,” Plant has said of the record.

Slaves are about to re-enter the studio to work on their third album, Isaac Holman has revealed.

Liam Gallagher will embark on his first solo arena tour in December.
After the As You Were album release on October 6th and a gig at Ulster Hall in Belfast on the 30th of the same month, Gallagher plays his debut solo arena gig in the UK at Leeds’ First Direct Arena on December 3rd.

The Rolling Stones have unveiled a lyric video for the track 2000 Light Years From Home which will feature on a new edition of Their Satanic Majesties Request, which is out to mark its 50th anniversary on September 22nd.
Seen as their flirtation with the fading memories of the Summer Of Love, the Stones’ sixth studio album ushered in an incredible run of classic LPs from the band during the next few years.

Kasabian have quickly followed up their headlining weekend at Reading/Leeds by releasing a video for III Ray (The King).
Starring Game Of Thrones’ Lena Headey, the promo preempts the single’s release on September 22nd after Kasabian unleashed the parent album For Crying Out Loud earlier this year.

Liam Fray has added two more shows to his solo UK acoustic tour.
The Courteeners frontman unveiled the original itinerary last month, and will now open at the Hull University Union on October 16th before playing the second new gig at the Keele University Ballroom the following evening.

The Blinders will undertake another headline tour of the UK once 2018 gets underway.
Starting at King Tuts in Glasgow, the band are on the road for most of February next year, and have a date booked at the Lexington in London in amongst it on the 21st.
