New music from Noel Gallagher could be just around the corner after the former Oasis guitarist posted an image on Instagram which seems to point to the name of a new single.
With a music video shoot also being hinted at elsewhere on social media recently, Gallagher’s Instagram post features a banner painted with ‘It’s A Beautiful World’, the possible first track from his third High Flying Birds album which is expected later this year.
Gallagher has been recording on and off for well over a year now with producer David Holmes, talking of a ‘brand new way of working’ as he wrote from scratch in the studio. “All the songs that I was writing towards making a record have not been used because when we decided to make a record with David Holmes he works that all the writing gets done in the studio,” he told Steve Lamacq last December.
