After launching their new single Alive in London last week, Warbly Jets have moved quick from the VAB to unveil another track due for inclusion on their self-titled debut album.

Shapeshifter previews the LP whose release date has been set for October 20th. “We wanted something incredibly aggressive to polarize the songs that were ending up more strings-centric,” says guitarist Julien O’Neill. “I put it all together in a damp, dripping space on Hollywood and Vine and Sam concocted a vicious noise solo on synth that brought it all home.”

Frontman Samuel Shea adds:

“The key changes make you feel like you’re trying to walk a tight rope after getting spun around on an merry go round. To me the lyrics have always been about and inevitable force throwing a personal equilibrium out of balance.”
