Warbly Jets have shared their video for Getting Closer (Than I Ever Have).
“The first step of any progressive change is knowledge,” says frontman Samuel Shea. “If we collectively and individually as humans could open our eyes to the power of positivity, empathy, and love for our fellow humans it would be the ultimate answer to all the chaos happening on this planet.”
“The intention of making this song was, in a way, a demonstration of where we feel we’ve gotten to with our whole process recently,” explains keyboardist, Julien O’Neill. “We’re hitting a great stride in the studio and writing, recording, mixing, putting a song out in a week seemed to be completely in the realm of possibility.”
It’s taken from the band’s self-titled LP of last year which is currently being toured through Europe. Those dates will encompass gigs in France, the Netherlands and Belgium during the coming weeks.
