Ten days ago it didn’t exist.

“The intention of making this song was, in a way, a demonstration of where we feel we’ve gotten to with our whole process recently,” says Warbly Jets‘ Julien O’Neill. “We’re hitting a great stride in the studio and writing, recording, mixing, putting a song out in a week seemed to be completely in the realm of possibility.”

They’ve managed it though; Inhuman Emotion is available now, with a video coming up soon – some new material from the band after the release of their debut album last year. “There’s loads of crazy production tricks on this one,” Sam Shea adds.

“I geek out over that stuff. There’s 5 different drum kits from section to section, the room sound on the drums was a 25 cent mic from a flea market slammed through an old Altec limiter. Basically anything I’ve ever been told not to do I’m doing.”
