The Tapestry have announced details of their new single ‘Right As Rain‘, and will mark the release with two UK shows in April. Watch the video by clicking on the snapshot below.
The promo is out on April 14th, swiftly following gigs at the Ruby Lounge in Manchester on the 11th of that month and at the This Feeling club night in London a day later.
Reportedly working on their first long player with producer Jim Spencer, the band talked through their plans for a debut album during a chat with Live4ever contributor Carl Stanley last year.
“It all depends on what happens in the immediate future,” frontman Liam Faherty said. “There will definitely be something out at some point. We have been building and growing all the time on the back of playing a lot live. As proved this week on the road with The Courteeners, we are happy enough that our single’s available. ‘Rode Your Luck’ and ‘Take Turns’ are a good enough introduction to the band, and we sold a lot of CDs.”
“Hopefully this fanbase will expand and they will stick with us until the timing is right to release a record, which we want to make as big an impact as possible. We are growing all the time so to release an album prematurely wouldn’t be right.”
