Video released for 2018 mix of The Beatles’ Back In The U.S.S.R.

The videos keep coming from the new 50th anniversary reissue of The Beatles‘ self-titled album with its release due on Friday (November 9th).

A promo for the updated, 2018 mix of Back In The U.S.S.R., which opens The White Album with Paul McCartney reaching a hand over the Iron Curtain to the Fab Four’s ostracized eastern fans, is below ahead of this week’s release on various formats including deluxe 3CD which will offer up the much-bootlegged Esher Demos, a fold-out poster, portrait photos and a 24-page booklet.

“In remixing The White Album, we’ve tried to bring you as close as possible to The Beatles in the studio,” producer Giles Martin has written in his introduction to the new edition.

“We’ve peeled back the layers of the Glass Onion with the hope of immersing old and new listeners into one of the most diverse and inspiring albums ever made.”
