A video for the first single to come from Good Cop Bad Cop – the new project of Joe Carnall and Matt Helders – has been premiered.
Silk & Leather is out ahead of the release of the self-titled debut album on March 29th after Arctic Monkeys drummer Helders got on board to produce tracks which had been written by Milburn frontman Carnall.
Since the project’s announcement we can safely assume Carnall has been inundated with the same few questions about his new project, given that a FAQ was posted to his Instagram page earlier this month. On whether Helders would be a part of the UK tour which is coming up in April it said:
“No. He produced the record and it was made at his home studio. We think he’s done enough.”
And on the prospect of Milburn songs during the tour: “He’s been doing that since he was 14. We think he deserves a break.”
